Invitation to Quote for Project no. 1400 for the Demolition and Removal of Slab at the Tram Stop Shelter, Opp Thorpe Hall Avenue, Thorpe Bay

Tender description

Southend Borough Council requires a contractor to demolish the existing structure including the removal of the concrete slab and steps to either side of the building. Following these works will involve the reinstatement of the concrete slab and steps previously removed. Comprehensive drawings and specifications will be issued to contractors and the works will be carried out under a JCT Minor Works Contract 2011. Contractors must demonstrate works can be carried out safely and provide evidence of previous experience in demolition works. The returned quotations will be considered against an evaluation ratio of 80% for price and 20% for quality. Please submit your request to quote no later than 12 noon on Thursday 29th October 2015. We anticipate the quotations will be sent out on Friday 30th October 2015 with a return date of 13th November 2016.
