However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender. The Natural History Museum are looking to install a Blue Whale skeleton into the Hintze Hall as a permanent display fixture. The Museum is looking to receive tenders relating to the design and creation of a bespoke armature for the purpose of supporting the Blue Whale skeleton in this new location. Tenderers will need to provide at least three case studies describing the successful completion of a similar type of project, involving working with large specimens as well as heritage locations.
