Tender description

Cash in Transit Services collections from Court Offices. The Contractor shall provide a secure collection service for cash, cheques, money orders, postal orders and bank drafts and deliver to the Bank of Ireland Cash Centres in Dublin and Cork. The term "secure cash in transit service" shall include collection at specified Court locations, overnight vaulting at the Contractor's premises, prompt delivery to bank premises and insurance cover. Insurance cover is required for all consignments conveyed by the contractor. The list of court offices requiring cash in transit services is set out in Pricing Schedule Form found at Appendix 2. In addition, some court offices around Dublin will require cash in transit services on an ad-hoc basis. The Courts Service reserves the right to add and remove court offices and amend scheduled collection times. No level of work is guaranteed to the service provider. No commitment is given, nor shall same be implied, that any specific number of secure collections from court offices will take place; this number may be increased or decreased as required by the Courts Service.
