BBC166 Archiving Services. The records management service provided by Bedfordshire Archives Service was established in 1986 and until 2002 stored all material received in its own storage areas. Since 2002 the service has supplemented its own storage capacity with external storage provided by an established storage company. Current annual volume of business — Currently have 36 078 boxes (390 mm long by 308 mm wide by 277 mm high ) stored with our current supplier — Sent 3 898 boxes for storage in the last year — Boxes requested back = 3 045 — Boxes destroyed by current supplier = 41. We anticipate this will increase. The services to be procured fall within Part B of Schedule 3 to the Public Contract Regulations 2006 (the "Regulations") and the Council does not intend to hold itself bound by any of the Regulations save those applicable to Part B Services.
