The Council wants to commission the following, countywide services: a service that supports small charities and social enterprises to set up and develop capacity and sustainability, including help securing funding; and a service that will support, develop and promote local volunteering and timebanking opportunities, including the coordination of a volunteer recognition scheme and improving access to volunteering opportunities. The tender will be split in to two separate Lots: Lot 1 Representing and developing the voluntary and community sector in Hertfordshire Lot 2 Supporting, developing and promoting local opportunities to volunteer It is anticipated that significant partnership and collaborative working will be required to deliver these services successfully to all areas of Hertfordshire. The current anticipated annual budget for these services is c. £263,000 pa. The Council is currently anticipating awarding a 2 year contract, with the possibility of a 12 month extension. This is a notice for social and specific services in accordance with Directive 2014/24/EU Article 74 and is for community services.
