1257/278/SW/N/15 Co-operating Positioner The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for the supply of a Co-operating 2-axis bespoke Positioner / Turntable for use within the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre at Catcliffe, Rotherham. Scope of Requirement: The Nuclear AMRC Welding and Materials Group require a fully integrated and cooperating 2-axis bespoke positioner/ turntable for its Bulk Additive Manufacturing (AM) facility. This is required for Bulk AM and mechanised 5-sided welding. Tenders are invited for the supply of a new co-operating positioner that will be integrated with the existing robotic equipment. The new positioner will replace the existing one and must be compatible with the Bulk AM facility. Tender Process and Documentation: This is an E.U. open exercise.
