Pre-Retirement Training

Tender description

This tender is for the provision of pre-retirement training for police officers and police staff of Greater Manchester Police (GMP). GMP has a duty to promote the health and wellbeing of officers and staff. As part of this support, the force offers a 2-day training course to officers and staff approaching retirement. The areas of training covered include financial planning, career planning and lifestyle planning. The contract awarded will be a zero cost / £1 contract. That is, the successful tenderer is to deliver the required courses at no cost to GMP. Furthermore, police officers and staff attending the training will not be required to pay for the training themselves. As part of the course programme, the successful supplier will be expected to provide advice to individuals and, as a result, will be able to develop their potential client basis from course attendees who are in a position to make personal, professional and financial plans for their future. The intention is to awared a contract to a single supplier to provide the above services.
