North Devon Council - Proposed Modular Building

Tender description

Expressions of interest are requested for contractors able to carry out the design, supply and installation of a single storey steel framed modular building approximate dimensions 16 x 9.1 metres floor area. The building shall have sufficient strength to support an additional storey if required in the future. There is also a requirement for a vestibule connecting the new building to the existing, including adapting existing entrance to suit. Structural loadings shall be provided to NDC to enable the foundations to be constructed separately. Power points/data points and alarm systems are to be installed by NDC once the building is in place. Attached is a draft copy of the minimum specification required. Invitations to Tender, including full details of the contract and award criteria, will be published on the Council's procurement portal, www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk, within the next month.
