<strong>GCC Subsidised Community Meals Service 2016-2019</strong> Gloucestershire County Council is tendering for a Subsided Community Meals Service. The contract will be for 3 years with a potential 2 year extension. The subsidised community meals contract will provide nutritionally balanced hot meals to promote the health and nutritional wellbeing of older people and people with disabilities living in their own homes. The service is a short term intervention, in most cases it will be provided while a customer recovers from an illness, set back or completes a period of reablement. The contract will focus on maximising personal independence and enabling people to stay in their own homes for as long as possible leading independent lives with more flexibility and choice, and ensuring value for money for all parties. The Contractor will work in partnership with the Authority to implement the Community Support Model. We expect potential contractors to meet a number of minimum standards; these are detailed in the ITT.
