Tender description

The National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL), part of the Department for Education, are inviting bids for the supply, maintenance and technical support of ESRI’s ArcGIS Basic software licences. 1 x Concurrent Licence for Esri’s ArcGIS for Desktop Basic Software (new licence): The latest version of this software is required (currently 10.3.1) Supporting up to 5 users, located at 3 different locations Perpetual licence 1 x Concurrent Licence for ArcGIS Spatial Analyst Extension (new licence): Supporting up to 5 users, located at 3 different locations Compatible with and to be used in conjunction with the ArcGIS for Desktop Basic Software as outlined in 4.1.1 1 x Concurrent Licence for ArcGIS Network Analyst Extension (new licence): Supporting up to 5 users, located at 3 different locations Compatible with and to be used in conjunction with the ArcGIS for Desktop Basic Software as outlined in 4.1.1 12 months “off the shelf” packaged support as covered by the Esri (UK) Basic Support Policy for the licences quoted in 4.1.1 – 4.1.3. Elements of this policy should include: Software upgrades for the products listed in 4.1.1 – 4.1.3, to include patches, bug fixes, new versions and new releases Technical Support available via telephone during the hours 09:00 – 17:30 Monday to Friday, excluding English Public Holidays Technical support to cover: (a) Problems that are demonstrable in the currently supported versions of the Products running unaltered on an appropriate hardware and operating system configuration. (b) Bugs which have been reproduced by technical support in the latest version of the Products. (c) Assistance with customisation of Products, which is limited to providing advice for specific problems, workarounds (where available) for known limitations or code samples in Python only. (d) Data provided by Esri UK as part of Esri UK’s online service. Contract duration will be for twelve (12) months with an option to extend for a further twelve (12) months.
