Home Office Digital (HOD) designs, builds and develops services for the rest of the department and for government. Our services are used by millions of people a week and sit at the core of the Home Office’s function. Digital and technology solutions are helping the Home Office to provide simpler, clearer, faster services that meet the needs of our users. We now must support increasing demand for services at a time where there is less money, and significantly fewer people. We currently have teams working in Central London, Croydon and Sheffield and would expect suppliers to be able to provide capability to one or more of these locations. A key objective of HOD is to help facilitate the creation of common services for the Home Office. Common services save money and improve user journeys, both for Civil Servants and members of the public. We are seeking to create platforms which enable 12 functions at the core of the Home Office:  Customer Interaction  Identity Verification  Threat Checking  Intelligence  Interviewing  Biometric Enrolment and Management  Decision Making (Simple Casework)  Decision Making (Complex Casework)  Analytics and Risk Scoring  Document Production  Policy  Enforcement
