<b>REQUEST FOR QUOTATION</b> <b><u>RFQ - Data Centre Hardware Installation and Data Centre Consultancy/Engineer Support</u></b> This RFQ consists of two parts the first of which is the installation and appropriate configuration of the specified and recently purchased UCS and XTREMIO computer and storage hardware packs. These are to be installed and located within the authorities two data centre facilities within Runcorn and Widnes supporting and enhancing the required disaster recovery and business continuity requirements of the council. The second part of this RFQ is requesting an 'end to end design, planning and consultancy day rate linked to an estimation of the days required for the installation and or delivery of each aspect of this request. The solution must be easy to maintain, cost effective but most importantly provide the end user with the best possible experience. For each choice explain your theory behind your response and the long term benefits to HBC. It is essential all associated implementations and designs will integrate with co-located EMC VNX 5600 Unified Storage systems and EMC VPLEX Metro infrastructure, together with the integration of the new installation of UCS/XTREMIO hardware deployment defined within the first aspect of this RFQ. All final installations will be delivered with full documented Installation guides, together with documentation defining effective monitoring and maintenance plans.
