Tender description

The Cabinet Office is commissioning a partner to develop advice and guidance for local public sector services seeking to use social action and trial an approach to share best practice and facilitate change locally. The purpose of the procurement is to enable and facilitate the commissioning, implementation and facilitation of social action across local public services through the development of tools, toolkits and templates, sharing best practice and lessons learnt and trialling an approach to facilitate the sharing of ideas and experience. This sits alongside other work in the Social Action Team to build demand for social action through the provision of evidence and case study examples. At the end of the contract the Social Action Team will: • make the materials developed widely available to other local areas and commissioners • explore how to scale up the approach to sharing best practice to reach as many interested commissioners/ local areas as possible.
