GB-Bath: Replacement of Lighting in the Multi Purpose Sports Hall

Tender description

The University of Bath requires a contractor to replace the lighting in the Multi Purpose Sports Hall on the main campus. The lighting will be a like for like replacement of the existing lighting system with no additional wiring to be installed. There will be some minor alterations to the retractable boom lighting system. The lighting will comprise high level surface mounted luminaires and low level emergency exit lighting, all of LED technology. All luminaires shall incorporate DALI capabilities for the future provision of accommodating the site wide Helvar DALI control system. All luminaires shall be free issue by the Client in order to allow the project to be completed within the short time scale given. The Contractor will be required to operate as a principal contractor for this project. The works are proposed to be carried out over 3 no. of 2 week slots replacing the lighting of one netball (4 badminton) court per 2 week slot, beginning September 2015 with completion by December 2015.
