University of Bedfordshire Forest School Project

Tender description

The UoB’s Polhill (Bedford) Campus has a long association of teacher training particularly within the ‘Primary’ age group. To further enhance its estates facilities to assist and equip teachers for the real school environment it now seeks a local landscape partner to construct/install/plant a Forest School. It is realised that our available budget is limited and hence the need to work with a partner who will • Design the Forest School • Be responsible for the delivery • Have the resources and expertise to construct/renovate/install the major resource intensive structures • Work with our Campus staff to enable them to undertake the less resource intensive aspects of the project • Undertake any commissioning required • Instruct/train staff in managing the project • Comply with all appropriate H & S and legislative requirements
