UCC hereby issues this information in accordance with the requirements of EC directive 2004/18/EEC (open procedure) to appoint a Building Works Contractor for the conversion of the existing language & phonetics lab into an Audiology Clinic at Brookfield Health Sciences Complex. The project will be tendered in 2 no Lots as follows 1. Lot 1 Acoustic Testing Booth to Audiology Room Part of Separate Tender 2. Lot 2 Building Works to Audiology Room – conversion of the existing language & phonetics lab into an Audiology Clinic. This document applies to Lot 2 only for the Building Works to Audiology Room Lot 2 Building Works will comprise the following scope of works to Observation Room, Write Up Area & supply of services to Testing Room •Demolitions & M & E Strip out of the existing room. •New stud partitions. •New wall linings including lining of the walls adjacent to the Testing Booth •Infill of 3 no existing Windows adjacent to Testing Booth •New Acoustic Doors •Skirting’s to Observation Room ,Write Up area & MG in Corridors. •Carpet Floor Finish to Observation Room & Write Up area & Supply of Carpet for installation by specialist to Testing Booth & MG Vinyl in corridors •Ceilings to Observation Room & Write Up area •Decoration to Observation Room ,Write Up area & MG in corridor •Mechanical , Electrical & Ventilation Installations to Observation Room & Write up areas and Interface points with Testing Booth •Builders Work & Fireproofing to last •Fitted Furniture •Supply & Installation of Sanitary Ware
