Expressions of Interest Continued operation and potential future development of the Fish Processing and Storage Facility in Rupert’s Valley The St Helena Government invites formal Expressions of Interest for the continued operation and potential future development of the Fish Processing and Storage Facility in Rupert’s Valley. Following the withdrawal of the existing operator, SHG are currently exploring options for the continued operation of the primary fish processing and storage facility in Rupert’s Valley, along with the potential for developing this operation further in order to facilitate a wider range of usages, such as the storage of frozen goods, or an expansion into areas of secondary processing. Whilst consideration is being given to the establishment of a multi-stakeholder operation, no decision has been made as to the exact format or structure of such an entity and SHG remains open to exploring options with local and international business interests with suitable relevant experience of operating such facilities who may wish to be considered for the future operation of this facility from a private investment perspective. Businesses expressing interest should be able to clearly demonstrate their capability and experience in these types of operation.
