Tender description

The objective of this request for tender was to appoint a service provider to support SEAI in the continuous development of its website. Numbers of tenders received: 2 Name and address of company awarded the contract: Parallel Internet Ltd of Content House, 46 Stephen's Place, Dublin 2, with company registration number 308117 Date of contract award: 15/10/2014 The contract will terminate on 14/10/2015 with an option to extend the term for periods of up to 12 months with a maximum of two such extensions. Value of contract: Estimated total value of the contract is €470,000 Award criteria and weightings: The contract was awarded from the qualifying tenders on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender using the following award: Range and depth of previous relevant experience in delivering similar projects within the organisation and quantity, quality and balance of the resources of the proposed team (Max. score = 30; Min. required = 18) Demonstrated understanding of the tender requirements and quality of tender proposal and methodology including: •Proposed approach to management and delivery of required services •Critique of current SEAI website design and landing page designs presented •Level of service and innovation demonstrated within the response (Max. score = 30; Min. required = 18) Cost (Max score = 40)
