Tender description

The ONMSD within the HSE wishes to tender for a supplier who will design develop and deliver an evidence based assurance system that offers a process/mechanism for nurses, midwives and health care employees to provide assurance that care is delivered in a safe, quality, compassionate, person- centred care way, from ‘Bed to Board’. ‘Bed to Board’ will ensure clear communication channels between wards, directorates and upwards to the executive management team and health care group Board. Using an experiential and real time learning approach, it is intended to develop the capacity of nurses, midwives and healthcare employees to take authority, responsibility and accountability for the patient experience, and to engage with a system that fosters a common culture of caring for the patient and caring for staff. The system must be capable of enabling healthcare teams to understand, question and co-develop strategies to become more effective in the provision and assurance of safe, quality, compassionate, person-centered care. It must also be capable of promoting resilience for staff who work in highly pressurised environments.
