Tender description

Quotations are requested for an Annual Service Contract for Hand Fire Appliances for CIT. The contract will include regular inspection, annual servicing of hose reels and extinguishers and discharging and recharging of all extinguishers on a phased basis over a five-year cycle. The service contract shall relate to the following premises: • CIT Bishopstown Campus • CIT Crawford College of Art and Design premises at Sharman Crawford Street and O’Sullivan’s Quay • CIT Blackrock Castle Observatory The service contract is in respect of all hose reels and extinguishers throughout the four sites specified. The quotation shall include unit costs for the replacement of or provision of additional extinguishers or hose reels. A supplementary quotation may be submitted for additional fire extinguishers which in the opinion of the Tenderer are necessary to comply with relevant standards. The basis of such an opinion shall be stated. The contract will be for two years initially and may be extended subject to review for a further three year period.
