Tender description
Dorset County Council are seeking to procure Low Floor Wheelchair Accessible 16 Passenger Seat Buses for the transportation of Service Users around Dorset. This will be a one off purchase of 20 x Low Floor Wheelchair Accessible 16 Seat Buses.The vehicles will be used to transport disabled, vulnerable and elderly people across a range of age groups around the County of Dorset to Day Care Centres, Residential Homes, Clinics, Hospitals, Schools, NHS and / or Educational Establishments. Vehicles must be easily accessible so passengers in wheelchairs and / or with walking aids can gain access, easily and safely. Vehicles may be used for hire and reward operations therefore each vehicle must comply with current EU and UK Regulations.
