LITTER COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL, SHERWOOD NORTH & SOUTH BEATS

Tender description

The Forestry Commission is inviting tenders for the collection and disposal of litter within Sherwood North and South Beats of Central England Forest District. Regular collection and removal of refuse from car parks, picnic areas and forest edges of Sherwood North and South Beats.  Sites are to be visited as per programme in Appendix and the Contract maps.  All waste to be disposed of in a manner according to current Government Legislation.  Contractor to give the Forestry Commission written evidence detailing the disposal of waste upon request (i.e. a transfer note).  It may be necessary, if the location of rubbish warrants it, to divert from the specified sites to other sites within the area. This will be agreed between the Contractor and the Contract Manager.  Contractor holiday cover must be provided and to be to standard.
