Tender description

Islington Council invites suitable expressions of interest from suppliers for the renewal and upgrade of CCTV Systems at Harvist Estate. <b>Background </b> The current CCTV system at Harvist Estate in Islington is now at end of life, and replacement parts are difficult and in some cases impossible to obtain. The quality of the images are poor and an improved system needs to be installed that will be fit for purpose. <b>The requirement </b> New CCTV Systems consisting of High Definition (HD) and Standard Definition (SD) cameras are to be supplied, installed and commissioned to integrate into the new recording platforms recently installed within Islington. New wiring, containment, and a new concierge viewing suite will need to be provided. The site consists of four (4) low-rise and four (4) high-rise residential blocks. <b>Lots</b> This contract is for the renewal and upgrade of the CCTV system at a single site and therefore this contract is not being split into lots. <b>TUPE [Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations]</b> Potential providers must be aware that TUPE may or may not apply to this service. Further details will be available in the invitation to tender. <b>Contract Period</b> The contract period will be for three (3) months from an estimated start date 26 October 2015. <b>Contract Value </b> The estimated total value of this contract is £250,000 over the maximum three (3) months term of the contract. <b> </b> <b> </b> <b>Award criteria </b> The contract will be awarded to the Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT) in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations. Site visits and/or presentations and/or interviews will be for verification/clarification purposes of the written submission. We reserve the right to interview leading bidders. <b> </b> <b> </b> <b>Procurement Process</b> The contract will be procured using the Restricted Procedure. The Restricted Procedure means the procurement process will be conducted in two stages.
