Tender description

To mark its expanded role in the area of local economic development under ‘Putting People First: A Programme for Local Government Reform’ and also the establishment of the Dublin City Local Enterprise Office the City Council wishes to publish a ‘Dublin Economic Commentary’. The City Council is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to prepare a Commentary which is intended to address the lack of readily accessible information and comment on the performance of the Dublin economy. Addressing this deficit is considered important, given the significant role Dublin’s economy plays in the national economy and the fact the Dublin is Ireland’s only city region of international significance. It is envisaged that the Commentary will be published in pdf format on a quarterly basis by the City Council. It will consist of up to eight A4 pages of graphs and written comment. While the Commentary will be published and promoted by Dublin City Council, the City Council is open to it being co- branded by the successful tenderer involved in its preparation. However, all rights to the Commentary will be owned by the City Council.
