Tender description

This is a type 1 contract, with a project value of less than <€500,000…The Scope of Works involves 3 main elements: a) Fire Works (Phase 1B)…Alterations of the stairwell over 3 floors, to create a new fire exit route from each floor onto the existing stairs and to separate it from the Lift Lobby on each floor. There is also a re-alignment of the Fire Exit on the ground floor, which will involve the relocation of the inner set of entrance doors and reception desk. A new fire exit has also to be created at the front entrance, with associated ramps and steps. b) The Brick Work on all elevations of the 4 storey building has to be stapled back (stitched) into the block work behind, to strengthen the integrity of the brickwork. (Singe storey Admin Block not included.) c) The concrete columns and beams on the 2 long elevations have suffered severe raveling over the years and need to be cleaned, wired down, repaired and reinstated. All windows throughout the 4 storey and single storey building will have their sills cleaned, wired down, repaired and covered with a power coated aluminium trim.
