Social Enterprise and Associated Support Service

Tender description

Quotations are invited for the provision of a service to support the development of social enterprises in Leicestershire, along with supporting individuals/organisations to explore alternative approaches to social and community-based finance. The service will include providing one-to-one advice and support to potential, emerging and existing social enterprises/social businesses, along with other community based (not-for-private-profit) organisations, who are exploring alternative methods of generating income/investment. The service will also include the provision of support to individuals/groups (including Council staff) who have an interest in delivering (devolved) Council services, along with supporting the Council’s objectives around stimulating local economic and business growth, with a particular focus on social businesses The Contract will begin on 1st July 2015, for a period of 24 months with the potential for a extension of up to 12 months.
