This Contract has already been awarded. This notice is for the publication of the Consultancy Value Statement which indicates the financial and non-financial value which has been delivered from this Contract. The Fraud and Error team form part of the Fraud, Error, Debts and Grants team within ERG, part of the Cabinet Office. The Fraud and Error team are responsible for working across government to improve the prevention and early detection of fraud and error. The requirement is to undertake a reset of the Counter Fraud Checking Service project. The Counter Fraud Checking Service (CFCS) project will bring together for the first time data on known fraud from DWP, HMRC, banks and insurance companies and may form a major data sharing tool to reduce the losses to fraud and error from government and the private sector.
