TS14028 Supply and Maintenance of a Web Content Management System and Associated Support Services

Tender description

Derbyshire County Council is seeking tenders for the supply of a Web Content Management System and Associated Support Services.The Solution includes, but will not be limited to: The ability to create and manage online forms; The ability to integrate third party internally or externally hosted software into the websites; An architecture compatible with the Councils technical infrastructure, as the Council requires the Solution to be hosted internally; Website search functionality; Managing, monitoring and reporting on website accessibility and quality assurance; Enables websites to adopt a responsive design framework; A Solution that is flexible, intuitive and easy to use by non-technical users; Provide a seamless integrated Solution with a common look and feel; Flexibility to access and control all HTML mark-up; A Solution that allows access to secure personalised content based on User login credentials, groups and roles; Provision of a secure Schools extranet for around 400 Derbyshire Schools including the two way transfer of files;Meets the Councils security policies and allows secure transactions and authentication; andThe Services will include, but will not be limited to: Re-creation of Councils websites utilising any new and improved functionality available in the new Solution; The requirement to integrate over 100 Classic ASP applications into the new websites See Section 6 for more information; Content migration from the existing SDL Tridion solution to the new Solution ; and Knowledge transfer and training of Council staff in the new solution to become self-sufficient.This procurement has being advertised in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU), with the contract note being published on the 23rd December 2014.
