Tender description

This proposed development consists of the realignment of a section of the existing N59 situated approximately 5km east of Maam Cross and 4.5km west of Oughterard. The section is approximately 10.2km in length. The purpose of the Ground Investigation Contract is to determine the ground and groundwater conditions at the following locations, or as directed: (a) Along the new proposed route alignment of the N59 between Maam Cross and Oughterard. See Drawing No. 32103802/GI/001-005 in Volume D of the Contract Documents. (b) Areas proposed for depositing peat and other soils considered unsuitable for earthworks construction along the new proposed alignment of the N59. See Drawing No. 32103802/GI/001-005 in Volume D of the Contract Documents.
