Framework for Gas Servicing

Derby Homes are looking to form a Framework Agreement for 4 years for Gas Servicing. It is anticipated that 3 5 contractors will be appointed to the framework.Successful contractors appointed to the frameworks will be expected to work alongside and compliment Derby Homes in-house service engineers, as and when required, in the following areas:1. Difficult Access Properties These are properties where Derby Homes in-house team has tried to gain access on a number of occasions but have not been successful. There will be a need for the contractor to contact the tenant in order to carry out the service to these properties. Derby Homes will supply all of the contact details and it is highly likely that this will involve gaining access to the property outside of the normal working hours of 8am to 5pm. Successful performance is a key requirement in this area of service in order for Derby Homes to achieve its legal obligations as a social housing landlord.2. Services carried out in batches it is expected that Derby Homes would issue a batch of 10 properties for servicing with a timescale of 28 days for the services to be completed.3. Hourly / Daily rate for a gas engineer to work alongside Derby Homes service engineers on any gas servicing requirement.
