CONTRACT AWARDED - The Successful bidder is Elucidate Limited. Tourism Ireland carried out a competitive tender process to appoint a supplier to design and deliver a blended learning solution for building and developing knowledge and skills in digital PR for our global team of publicity executives. The overall objective of the learning programme is to build Tourism Ireland’s capability in digital PR so that our publicity executives can embrace digital PR skills and incorporate them when developing the market publicity strategy and in their day to day work. The training group is approximately 32 people working in the various PR teams in different locations within Tourism Ireland. The competence level varies for digital PR however the team would be considered expert in offline publicity and in 2013 would have generated approximately €280m worth of EAV for the island of Ireland including working with some of the leading media titles in the world. The design phase of the training is critical and will involve a number of workshops with internal stakeholders in Tourism Ireland.
