Tender description

The Health Promotion Research Centre at NUI, Galway are undertaking a national Irish Workplace Behaviour Survey (IWBS) funded by Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, UK. The IWBS requires a representative sample of Irish employees and people who have experience of employment in the last two years and should allow for acceptable comparative analysis with the findings of the BWBS. Interviews will be conducted face-to-face in households and will use Computer Aided Personal Interviewing. The survey instrument will be provided to the successful organisation and will comprise a version of the BWBS instrument amended for the Irish context and the HSE Management standards tool. The successful organisation will be required to code a CAPI system to carry out the field-work of face-to-face interviews, the transfer of data to the provided SPSS templates, to complete thorough data cleaning and to supply cleaned datasets and a full technical report.
