Provision of Consultancy for Aviation Passenger Information Data Quality Project

Tender description

The Home Office requires Specialist Aviation Industry expertise to support the investigation of the quality of data provided to it by Airlines. Aviation reference data consultancy is required (for up to 200 days on a call off basis over a 6 month period between 1st June and 27th November 2015) to support the department in the integration of the above data sets. Consistently high quality data is intrinsic to the effective and efficient operation of border controls and aviation security. This process relies on the timely receipt of accurate and complete Advance Passenger Information (API) from carriers. The Data Quality Improvement Project is working with carriers to drive continuous improvement in the quality of travel movement data. In order to fully measure the quality of API received, accurate data, providing details of flight movements and passenger numbers, is required.
