Tender description

The objective of this Request for Tenders RFT was to establish a panel of three competent, qualified service providers for editing services. Numbers of tenders received: 11 Name and address of company awarded the contract: Clare Taylor of 42 Manor Place, Dublin 7 Integral Communications t/a Communiqué International of 26 Herbert Place, Dublin 2 Peter Malone Editorial Services of Milltown, Dingle, County Kerry Date of contract award: 08/09/2014 The contract will terminate on 07/09/2015 with an option to extend the term for periods of up to 12 months with a maximum of two such extension depending on budget availability and performance. Value of contract: Estimated total value is €90000 Award criteria and weightings: The contract was awarded from the qualifying tenders on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender using the following award: 1. Range and depth of previous relevant professional writing/editing experience and quality and level of resources to be applied to the project; (Maximum score: 40; Minimum score required: 24) 2.Quality of tender proposal and methodology including the proposed management of assignment, application of best practice standards, deliverables, time scales and measures for ensuring quality; (Maximum score: 20; Minimum score required: 12) 3.Cost; (Maximum score: 40)
