Regional Heritage Impact Toolkit

Tender description

Project to develop a robust toolkit that will enable the collection of data that evidences the impact of the heritage sector to the economy of North East England. The toolkit will include a re-useable framework (as opposed to a one-off report) that will enable the collection of data on a regular basis, with the ambition to build a longitudinal picture. It will include direct and indirect economic value and impact of investment in the heritage sector such as its heritage assets and wider historic environment. The toolkit should enable the user to identify the impacts of this investment in terms of heritage tourism, construction, business activity and accommodation, jobs and skills, and its contribution to the economic growth of the North East and UK as a whole.
