Contract awarded to highest scoring tenderer - People Partners Ltd - following a competitive tender process. Tourism Ireland sought to appoint a supplier to design and deliver training in Key Account Management for our global team of trade executives. One of the key priorities of Tourism Ireland is to maximise business to the island of Ireland from the travel trade sector in key overseas markets. To achieve this a team of trade executives based in our overseas offices work with tour operators, travel agents, wholesalers, incentive houses and meetings and event organisers to ensure the island of Ireland is to the forefront of their minds when suggesting locations for holidays, group travel, conferences, meetings and events. Tourism Ireland wishes to introduce more focused and strategic account planning and management and to develop the commercial skills of the trade executives to ensure that business potential is maximized. Customised training and development and support in all of the areas detailed in the Specification at Schedule 1 is required using a mix of innovative and blended learning solutions as appropriate. The objective is to build the capability of Tourism Ireland’s trade team to ensure that the organisation continues to be fit for purpose and that it can deliver on its strategic goals and tourism targets for the island of Ireland. It is anticipated that the maximum budget over the lifetime of this project (three (3) years up to a maximum of four (4) years in total) will not exceed €112,000 excluding VAT.
