Tender description

On February 18th 2014 works commenced for the build of Roscommon county Councils new Civic Headquarters. Main contractor appointed for the project is JSL Group Ltd T/A Stewart, Co. Galway. The development will involve the construction of office accommodation, new council chambers and facilities for elected members, total floor area for the development is 6,700 sq m. The Works will also include the coordination of the phased decanting of approx. 220 council staff from existing accommodation to the new building. Construction work is expected to take in the region of 16 months to complete. Outside of the main contract Roscommon County Council is required to procure and install a new and modern IT infrastructure that will complement our new modern and contemporary building. Our aim is to procure ICT Consultancy Services to guide us in providing appropriate technologies that enable our users to access the information and services necessary to do their jobs effectively and efficiently. We will research the latest technologies and see how we can best incorporate them in to our new environment in a cost and energy efficient manner. Please respond to RFT in document download
