Tender description
The Department is seeking legal and courtroom training services for all relevant staff. A number of staff members in the Department of Arts, Heritage and Gaeltacht Affairs ("The Department"), particularly in the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) and the National Monuments Service (NMS) have an enforcement role which often leads to the necessity for court appearances at various levels. Tenderers must outline a solution to the following requirements: The provision of legal and courtroom training services to staff of the Department to include the following: - Evidence gathering, storage and preservation of evidence; - Practical application of governing legislation to include decision-making; - Effective inspection and investigation techniques; - Cautioning and taking statements; - Report and statement writing; - File preparation; - Courtroom skills and cross examination; and - Expert witness training.
