Tender description

Regulatory Authorities on the island of Ireland have established the SEM Integration project to redevelop the Single Electricity Market to implement the European Target Model (market Network Codes) in the SEM. The target date for the new market arrangement to be operational is December 2016. EirGrid, in its role as TSO and MO in both jurisdictions of Ireland and Northern Ireland respectively, has established the European Market Integration Project (EMIP) to deliver the Transmission System Operator and Market Operator changes necessary, including the central IT systems, for the Regulatory Authorities’ SEM Integration project. Interested Candidates may chose to submit a PQQ response in line with this document for the provision of consultancy services to support the European Market Integration Project (EMIP) in developing the Integrated Solution Design, Software Procurement and Service Provider procurement activities and in the Market Detailed Design activities. The successful Candidate should have the capability to assist EirGrid based on any of the I-SEM High Level Designs currently under consideration, the final decision for which is currently scheduled for August 2014.
