Contract has now been awarded to Bullseye Marketing. Access 6 is a new EU funded programme supported by three partner organizations: • Irish Exporters Association • Scotland Food & Drink • Northern Ireland Food and Drink Association The aim of this project is to provide a wide range of small and medium sized food and drink businesses with the skill- sets, professional marketing assistance and logistical support to successfully supply to major international markets. Within the partners areas we will recruit SMEs from the INTERREG IVA region which encompasses the border regions of the Republic of Ireland, the West coast of Scotland and Northern Ireland. The primary aim of this project is to enable a wide range of small and medium sized food and drink businesses to achieve listings in France with a Channel Partner. The key activities of the project will be: Creation of a series of six marketing clusters of SMEs focused on different UK and international markets. At the centre of each cluster will be a major distributor / wholesaler or retail multiple (known as Channel Partners) to enable the producers in the Region to reach consumers in these high value, volume markets. The nominated geographical clusters are: - North America - London/SE England - France - Benelux - Germany - Scandinavia We anticipate that we will recruit 15 SME’s for each of the above six clusters, evenly distributed between the three partners. Irish Exporters Association are responsible for the recruitment of a Mentor for the French market with particular focus on the Paris region. It is expected that mentors should have experience within Retail, Online Sectors AND/OR Foodservice and be capable of mentoring for diverse range of Food & Drink SMEs.
