INVITATION FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR THE PROVISION OF EVENT MANAGEMENT SERVICES

This Framework Agreement has been established on the 24/9/13. The following companies are on the framework: Lot 1: • Diffusion Events • Holohan Leisure • Magnum Events Lot 2: •Davis Events •Diffusion Events •Limelight Communications •Magnum Events 16 Submissions were received. Dublin City Council proposes to engage the services from time to time of an event management company for the production, management and in some instances programming for (mainly) outdoor Civic, Cultural and Sports events that may form part of a programme of events run by Dublin City Council. The Dublin Docklands Authority and Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council are eligible to use this contract in addition to Dublin City Council. Dublin City Council proposes to establish a Multi - Party Framework Agreement for 2 years with an option to extend for a further year, for the provision of Event Management Services. Events generally fall into two categories and the Contract / Framework Agreement will cover 2 LOTS; LOT 1 – ‘Large’ Events This LOT applies to events that fall under Part XVI - Planning & Development Act 2000 i.e. events which take place: Wholly/mainly in the open air In a structure with no roof or partial/temporary/retractable roof or a tent Which are comprised of music/dancing/displays of public entertainment or activity of like kind With an audience in excess of 5,000 (in any one event) These events may require a Public Event Licence under Part XV1 of the Planning and Development Act 2000.
