Request for Tender for Supply and Installation of Commercial Kitchen to Structure 19 (Rathdown House) – Grangegorman, Dublin 7

Tender description

Grangegorman Development Agency (GDA) wish to procure the Supply and Installation of a Commercial Kitchen. This Kitchen will be installed in Structure 19 (Rathdown House) on the Grangegorman Campus in May 2014. The kitchen will become operational in August 2014 when the first 1000 students from Dublin Institute of Tecnology (DIT) transfer from existing DIT College Buildings at Mountjoy Square and Portland Row to the new DIT Campus at Grangegorman, Dublin 7. Grangegorman Development Agency have appointed Purcell Construction Ltd (PCL) as Works Contractor for the Adaptive Reuse Contract of Structure 19 (Rathdown House). The Kitchen Supplier and Installer will be required to liaise and work closely with PCL to ensure the timely and coordinated installation of the kitchen. At this juncture Grangegorman Development Agency envisage that the Contract for the Supply and Installation of the Kitchen will be novated to Purcell Construction Ltd. PCL are responsible for the integrity of the Construction Works during the defects liability period of 12 months. The kitchen supplier and installer will be required to stand over the supply and installation (labour and parts) for a similar 12 month period. The Supplier is requested to provide a price for a further One Year Maintenance after the expiry of the aforementioned 12 months defect liability period. Kitchen must be installed and commissioned and handed over to Purcell Construction Ltd. on 23rd May 2014 (refer to attached Programme for Details) Refer to Following Documents (Attachments to RFT) for Requirements & Specifications
