Tender description

The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine invites tenders from approved laboratories to test brain tissue samples for the presence of TSEs in cattle, sheep and goat carcasses using one of the rapid tests approved for the monitoring of TSEs in accordance with Regulation (EC) 999/2001 (as amended). In particular, the Rapid Testing Laboratory (RTL) will be testing for BSE in cattle and scrapie in sheep and goats.
