PLATO EBR Programme Mentoring Expertise

PLATO EBR seeks quotations from suitably qualified Individuals and/or organisations for the provision of mentoring expertise to support the SME participants of PLATO Group Activity. Approximately 15 companies will be recruited into 16 Groups within the East Border Region. Each cohort of SMEs will be taken through a 12-month programme consisting of approximately 10-12 facilitated sessions. In addition to the monthly meetings, PLATO Group activity will also consist of training and network trading events, and additional mentoring as required. PLATO EBR wishes to create Supplier Lists of Mentors to assist in the provision of mentor support to businesses participating on the PLATO EBR Programme within the catchment area of East Border Region. The Mentor will be required to provide group (e.g. small group clinic) and/or 1- to-1 mentoring support for a number of PLATO Group Participants requiring additional supports beyond the monthly group meetings, training and other Programme supports. It is anticipated that at least half of the PLATO Group Participants (that is at least 120 of PLATO Group Participants) will require additional mentoring which will require 1-to-1 mentoring based on areas of specific expertise. As an indicator, it is anticipated that each of these PLATO Group Participants could receive 3.5 hours of mentoring and this could vary upwards for certain Participants.
