Primary Medical Services in Blakenall, Walsall

Walsall Teaching Primary Care Trust (NHS Walsall) is looking to commission primary medical services under an Alternative Personal Medical Services (APMS) Contract. The successful provider (where so appointed) will under an APMS contract provide essential, additional and enhanced primary medical care services at PCT mandated premises within the Blakenall Village Centre (79 Thames Road, Walsall, WS3 1LZ). This procurement is for the combined list of 2 neighbouring practices within the Blakenall Village centre, i.e. Blakenall Meadow Practice and Blakenall Village Practice, which have total list size of 4,457 registered patients. The resulting merged Practice will operate from existing premises and all staff employed at the practices will be subject of TUPE meaning that they will transfer on their existing pay and terms and conditions of service on contract commencement. Potential bidders are requested to register their expression of interest by completing the Pre Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) via the NHS Walsall eSourcing portal www.nhssourcing.co.uk. Please note that only on line submissions will be accepted and that the deadline for submission of the completed Pre Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) is 12noon on Wednesday 5th October 2011.
