The University is seeking to purchase a vertical microcompounder with integrated tow impregnation die. Lot 1: The University of Edinburgh is seeking to award Engelmann & Buckham the contract for the purchase of an XPlore Microcompounder as the UK representatives for XPlore. The XPlore microcompounder has been selected as it is the only equipment that meets the University's requirements of: - An integrated unit that includes an injection moulder, a tow impregnation line and an integrated filament line to produce fused deposition modeling filaments. - A vertical machine to maximise limited lab space.
