Quick Quote - MER Vegetation Management Works 2026

Tender description

Please find attached documentation for a quick quote competition to provide vegetation flailing and management services on the Manx Electric Railway, for the Isle of Man Railways, Department of Infrastructure. <br /><br />The contractors shall provide flailing, hedging and vegetation cutting back works across the full length of the Manx Electric Railway. A total of 19 worksites have been created to break down the Railway into more manageable sections which cover the entire length of the Manx Electric Railway and totals an approximate linear meterage of 28 KM (17.5 Miles). Works may commence at the earliest convenience of the contractor and all works are required to be complete by April 2026. If suitable and safe working arrangements can be agreed with the Department that will allow the contractor to work on the Operational Railway, work may extend beyond April 2026. <br /><br />The attached documentation consists of:<br />- Quick Quote - MER Vegetation Management Works 2026<br />- Work Packages WS001-WS005<br />- Work Packages WS006-WS010<br />- Work Packages WS010-WS015<br />- Work Packages WS015-WS019<br /><br />The Quick Quote will remain available on the Portal for Expressions of Interest until noon (12.00 hrs) on Wednesday 25th February 2026 and the deadline for submissions is noon (12.00 hrs) on Friday 27th February 2026 and your response must be submitted through the portal by this deadline. <br /><br />Once you have selected `Express Interest` a `Quote Documents` tab will appear and this is where you will find the above mentioned documents.<br /><br />After the above deadline the Portal will `Lock-Out` and no further submissions can be made.<br /><br />If your organisation does not wish to submit a response to provide these services, please select `Opt-Out` and select a reason. You can also choose to stop receiving correspondence on this screen.<br /><br />Please note, unless otherwise advised, all Quick Quote Competitions will be subject to the Isle of Man Government Standard Terms & Conditions for Goods and/or Services, a copy of which can be found under the `Supplier Information & Privacy Policies` tab.<br />
