Tender description

The University seeks a solution which will enable the institution to provide an exceptional experience for career, employability and start-up services supporting student and graduate career development.
The features of the solution should include:
 Organisations and Opportunities: Employer profile and vacancy management. Upload of information and job postings with an API to reputable and relevant sources of student internships / placements and vacancies. Ability for employers to import own jobs. Generation of automated emails. Management of speculative employer engagement. The university is particularly interested in bringing in an advanced careers & employability product that can help students with low social capital access employers and opportunities
 Appointment scheduling, booking and cancellation - careers & employability and business advice appointments scheduled in a flexible, easy-to-use-and-amend manner allowing for a range of different timed/themed appointments to be offered to students and graduates. A high percentage of LJMU students have received no or little careers intervention in their previous education and the university is interested in how a new solution would support early engagement of students
 Recruitment Fair and event management - ability to create, manage, promote and evaluate events for students, graduates & employers, with system-generated emails and reporting functionality. Ability to host booking and delivery of webinars in platform (the university uses MS Teams)
 Self-service & personalisation - as student demographics change, the university is interested in how a software solution could offer a range of in-person and on-demand features for students through ‘just in time’ and tailoring to their personal profile and interests
 Offer bespoke information & service promotions for specific students, relevant to their courses, profile, stage of career development and use of the system. Ability to blend platform content with LJMU-authored content
 AI products – for example, AI CV builders, AI interview tools, chatbots and skills profiling / psychometric testing. The university is interested in seeing innovative approaches to careers and employability support that protect authentic, bias-free experiences for students and graduates
 Ability to create pathways/workflows that blend content & tools with engagement in activities. Allows progress over time to be visible and provides an overview of student cohort progress for LJMU staff
 Skills self-assessment tools, with recommended activities and resources based on skills profile
 Ability to send mass and user-targeted marketing messages/emails/newsletters in-system
 Reporting, including access to user insights, analytics and metrics
 Ability to raise queries/’help me’ requests whilst in the solution
 Ability for users to keyword search resources and curate lists of bookmarked resources
 Scope for effective integration with key university systems – for example (but not limited to) SSO support, the student record system (SIS), MS Outlook and Teams, CRM (Microsoft Dynamics), the Virtual Learning Environment (Canvas)
 It is our preference the data be hosted in the UK or EU – due to the additional checks and processes we would need to undertake if stored outside of these jurisdictions.
