Tender description

Islington Council intends to procure a supplier/s to enable supply and installation of secure Bike Hangers across the borough. The procurement will seek a multi-year contract until 2031 with a dependable supplier of bike hangars for the supply and installation for secure, on-street cycle parking as part of Islington’s bike hangar programme. The agreement will cover both the Transport and Estate Services requirements. The council also supplies bike hangars on our residential council estates, providing secure cycle storage on estates. The contract is also seeking for the supply and installation for the following number of bike hangars: • Year 1 (2026-27): 30 bike hangars • Year 2 (2027-28): 25 bike hangars • Year 3 (2028-29): 20 bike hangars • Year 4 (2029-30): 20 bike hangars • Year 5 (2030-31): 20 bike hangars Therefore by 2031, the council is seeking the supply and installation of 600 on-street bike hangars, and 115 estate bike hangars. The supplier must be registered on the London Tenders Portal (LTP). This procurement may also include the provision of bike hangars on council housing estates and in an off-street environment.
