Tender description

The City of London Corporation is seeking to appoint a multi-disciplinary professional services team comprising an Architect and Design Team Leader, Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Engineer, Project Manager / Employer’s Agent, and Cost Consultant to deliver the CAT A refurbishment of 20–21 Aldermanbury, a Grade II listed office building in the City of London. The appointments will cover feasibility, concept and technical design across RIBA Stages 1–4; planning and Listed Building Consent support; preparation of Employer’s Requirements for a Design and Build procurement route; and continuing client-side Technical Advisor, contract administration and cost management roles through construction, commissioning, handover and post-completion. The consultant team will deliver BIM in accordance with ISO 19650, support the Authority’s sustainability and Net Zero objectives, coordinate closely across disciplines, manage statutory approvals and stakeholders, and ensure robust control of quality, cost, programme and risk throughout the project lifecycle.
